With so many ways to communicate with students about assignments and reminders, I found that the most useful way for me is Google docs. I post it on Google Classroom under the Stream feature (which I only use for announcements and this), and they can access it anytime anywhere. It also forces students to check instead of me having to write it on the board daily or remind them. Moreover, it allows students who are absent to keep up. Finally, it keeps me accountable as I have the homework assigned for the week. Happy Tinkering!
